OrionFLY Sells Two Kodiak 100 Sea to North-American Clients

Orionfly is pleased to confirm the sale and delivery of two used Kodiak 100 Sea aircraft to a Canadian commercial operator and a private customer based in Florida.

The Kodiak 100  is an unpressurized, 8-10-seat, single-engine turboprop aircraft capable of operating on uneven and unimproved runways, or on water in the amphibious version. Its unique combination of robust construction and remarkable useful load has resulted in many additional applications for the Kodiak, including air ambulance evacuations, firefighting support, skydiving operations, surveillance and wildlife management.

The remarkably versatile Kodiak feels right at home on the water. Designed from the start for float operations, without needing any structural or aerodynamic upgrades, the Kodiak 100 was originally built to fly services and supplies to the world’s most remote regions.

With its carbon-fiber Aerocet floats and corrosion proofing inside and out, the Kodiak offers exceptional water operation performance. Both aircraft have been equipped with MT 5-blades propellers, providing significantly improved take-off performance, lower vibrations and greater ground clearance for fewer foreign object debris (FOD) concerns.
